Ilminster, Somerset (UK)
I don’t usually comment on the monthly selection of photos in this blog, but this month has been rather different for me and requires some explanation. My dear dad died on 3 March so I spent most of the past month back in the UK, in the quiet town of Ilminster in Somerset. I share here a few of the urban landscape and street photographs I took on some very occasional photo walks during my stay
Rome
The final few days of the month found me back in the heart of Rome again, a busy city thronging with tourists in the lead-up to Easter. Most of these shots were taken on the same day, almost as an exercise in retraining my 'street eye' after a break, but I ended up liking several of the resulting shots, so I'm sharing them here.
Dedicated to my father, who loved taking photographs.
